We’re Recruiting – Chair of the Board of Trustees

NHSF is looking for a Chair for our active Board of Trustees. If you are a confident, engaging leader who is passionate about championing heritage science, why not join our Board?

The National Heritage Science Forum is seeking a Chair to lead our Board of Trustees from January 2027.

We’re looking for an inspirational individual with strong communication skills who can help us champion heritage science in the UK and thrive as an organisation. Could that be you? 

The ideal candidate is someone with:

  • A tactful, engaging leadership style 
  • A credible voice in heritage science or a closely related field
  • Previous experience chairing a committee or organisation.

This is a voluntary role for an initial term of three years.  Trustees may apply for reimbursement of expenses in line with NHSF's financial policies.
