AHRC Infrastructure- Virtual Town Hall Events
AHRC's Infrastructure team would like to invite colleagues in ROs and IROs, including university collections, and the wider GLAM sector to attend one of two virtual town hall events: Wednesday 25 November 2020 - 1330-1500 Thursday 3 December 2020 - 1330-1500.
UKRI Infrastructure’s Opportunities to grow our capability, has set out strategic vision for future investment in research and innovation infrastructure. It identified that critical to the heritage sector’s continued success is: (a) investment in conservation and heritage science facilities; and, (b) physical spaces bringing practitioners, curators and scientists together. It is the aim of AHRC’s Infrastructure team to engage with the heritage science and conservation communities to consult on the Council’s lead in a cross-Council effort to establish a national institute and research programme.
Registration deadline for either session is the close of play on Friday 20 November. Prior to the event, an agenda and information pack will be circulated. Questions can be submitted up until the day before the event. Outputs of the webinar will be made available to participants shortly thereafter.
