Call for heritage science job descriptions

We're doing a piece of work to map role descriptions to existing apprenticeship standards to see how existing standards can be used by the field of heritage science and where there are gaps.

Can you help us by emailing us heritage science role descriptions?

We're looking for a broad range of roles that span the breadth of heritage science activity - e.g. conservation science, archaeological science, environmental sciences, geophysics, data science....basically anything that fits with our definition of heritage science as 'the application of science and technology to the understanding and management of heritage, and engagement with it'.

This is part of the Forum's work to address the goals of the Strategic Framework for Heritage Science in the UK and in particular the challenges identified under the 'skilled and diverse heritage science community' strand which highlights the need to open up the routes to a career in heritage science, including through apprenticeships.

Please send role descriptions to Caroline Peach (coordinator@heritagescienceforum.org.uk
