Call for Contributions to the NHSF Halloween blog campaign

The National Heritage Science Forum runs the blog Heritage Science: Fact not Fiction as a way of bringing heritage science to a wider audience.

The Forum runs several blog ‘campaigns’ over the course of a year to coincide with wider events happening in the world of heritage and culture. We are currently looking for contributions for a Halloween-themed blog campaign.

We are aiming to publish three posts on ‘uncanny’ or ‘mysterious’ topics in the run-up to the 31st October. Contributions should have an enticing hook linked to the Halloween season (e.g. unsolved mysteries, folklore or ancient beliefs) and aim to present heritage science research to a non-specialist audience. Please see below for examples drawn from existing heritage blogs.

If you would like to take part, please see our contributor guidelines below. Contributions should be sent to coordinator@heritagescienceforum.org.uk by the 20th October 2017.
