Launch of a new strategic framework for heritage science in the UK 2018-2023

A new strategic framework for heritage science in the UK was launched at an event at the Tower of London on 5 December 2018.

Following a year of consultation and development by the National Heritage Science Forum, a new strategic framework for heritage science in the UK has been launched.

The Framework is a tool for the heritage science community to use to show its work delivers against strategic outcomes under the three themes of:

  • Excellent research
  • A skilled and diverse heritage science community
  • Demonstrable social and economic impact
